0-2 weeks – SLEEP, EAT, SLEEP, EAT, SLEEP, EAT – Life is good!!!!

2+ weeks – sleep less, eat, cry, sleep, cry, eat, sleep, cry, sleep, cry, awake without crying for a few minutes, sleep, cry, eat

6 weeks – dairy free, starting to improve — maybe

6-8 weeks – rolls front to back when mad

9 weeks – smiling a lot when awake (if upright and being played with)

3.5 months – Eyes are definitely brown now.   Will have “conversations”.

4 months – roll from stomach to back.  drooling

4.5 Months – slight runny nose

5.5 Months – starting to catch on to eating food.   Loves to play with her toes.  Peek-a-boo.  Creeps backwards

6.5 Months – Sits unsupported and plays with toys

7.25 Months – Scooches backwards and in circles.

7.75 Months – Scooches / crawls forward a bit.  Stands and “walks” by herself when holding onto things like the crib rails.

8.5 Months – First fever

8.75 Months – Crawls on all fours.

9 Months – Pulls self up and gets down / walks around holding things pretty well.  Will claps hands on command.

9.5 Months – Kneels while playing, climbs stairs

10.0 Months – First steps, bottom two teeth broke through (#1 & #2)

10.1 Months – Up to 12 steps.  Waves and says “hi” (with mouth open and tongue sticking out).

10.75 Months – Walks like a champ.   Likes to “share”.  Plays with cars making the “bbbrrooooooommmmm” sound.  Still loves to climb stairs.  Uses bench to climb on coffee table.

11.25 Months – Can stand up after falling without grabbing onto something.  Still doesn’t care for table food unless it is crust or cheerios.

11.75 Months – Top two teeth broke through (#3 & #4).   Waves and says “bye-bye”.  Says “mama”.  When asked to go outside, walks to the door sits down and tries to put on shoes.  Understands “binky down”.  If you say “shoes” she will get her shoes, sit down and try to put them on.

13 Months – Loves to climb on the couch, step stool, stroller, stairs, really anything.  Trys to do “itsy bitsy spider”.

13.5 Months – Top tooth on left (#5) broke through.  Likes to dunk the basketball.

14 Months – Top tooth on right (#6) broke through

14.25 Months – Bottom two teeth (#7 & #8) broke through

14.5 Months – Bottom right molar (#9)

14.6 Month – Bottom left molar (#10)

15 Months – Will pick up phone and sometimes try t o say “helw-wo”.  Will flip over a box and drag it near the bed and climb up to play on the bed.  Trys to “moo” like a cow.  Sticks her tongue out and pants for “doggie”.

15.5 Months – Top 2 molars broke through (#11 & #12).    Puke/poop for a week without eating much food.   Points to pictures of babies on the wall and says “bAY-ba”.  Climbs up the dining rm chairs by herself.

16.5 Months -  Says apple “ap” or “ap-pa”.

17.5 Months – Likes to jump of the couch into someone’s arms.  Likes to build legos.  No more daycare.  First ear infection.  Loves story time, pointing in the books.  Loves shoes.  Likes to “screech/scream” especially when it drives Ian crazy!!!  Likes playing with her puzzles.

18 Months – First pee-pee on the potty.  Will go sit on the potty after you take her diaper off.  Trying hard to talk, is getting much better at imitating sounds.   Loves to dance, dance, dance.  All indications is that she will be the first Tallini to know how to dance.

19 Months – Had third ear infection.   Second time on drugs.  Absolutely has to do anything that Ian does.   Loves to pull clothes out of her drawer and try to dress herself.  Will even double up with two pair of pants.   Likes to run up and down the hall after someone says “On your mark, get set, GO!” and she yells “Gooooooo!!!!”.   Will grab onto back of someone’s shirt and walk around the house playing “train”.

20 Months – On a streak of sleeping though the night.   Calls Babci “Bob-bee”.  Loves “Dog-gies”

21 Months – Says “Bye Yo!!!!!”, “I don’t know”, “Push” when she wants to be pushed on the tricycle.  Loves her booster seat for meals.  Top right bicupsid out (#13)

22 Months – Bottom right & top left bicuspid out (#14 & #15).  Adores Ians (when she is not fighting with him).   Tries to make him feel better when he is crying.  Call Ian “EEEeeeee!!!!  or “Bud-Deeeeeeee”.  Likes to jump off the bed onto jumping mat.

23.5 Months – Bottom left 2nd molar halfway through (#15).  Loves to read books, definitely has her “favorite” pages.  Climbs into her crib herself.

25 Months – Tries to say all words, getting more clear.  Starting to pee on potty.  Bottom right 2nd molar halfway through (#16).   Favorite phrase – “Mommy, dinner’s ready!!”

26.5 Months – First poop on the potty (was so proud ran around to everyone at dinner table to tell them).  Doing really good talking in sentences.  Starting to pedal tricycle herself.  Recognizes colors.  Can count to 3.   Loves to do anything Ian does.   Loves using scissors and markers.   Enjoys playing her doll house and little people.

27.5 Months – Favorite thing to say “No, I’ll do it!!!!!”  Doing great potty training (at least for pee).  Learning Italian, can count to dieci with some coaching.  Does 12 piece puzzles by herself.   Draws with purpose.  Knows a few letters and can write some, including an upside down A.  Top second molars mostly through (#19 and #20)

30 Months – Regularly pooping on the potty

34 Months – Finally making it through the night.   Turned car seat forward facing.    Been riding training wheel bike very well.   Starting to coast on the coasting bike.
