Around mid-December Mia turned the corner and started pooping on the potty.

Rewarded with her blueberry “cookie car” as she calls it…

Mia is now pooping on the big girl potty every day!!!!!!    (So many photo ops)   Now if she could just make it through the night.

Mia loves pea soup, and the best part is eating off the bone.

Here is Prababcia with her “favorite” son.   Nice sweatshirt!!!!

My turn, my turn.

Everyone wants a chance to take a picture with Prababcia.

Back in early December for Babci’s birthday, Cioci Jessi and Mommy took Babci to the Big Apple to see a Broadway show.

Babci’s highlight may have been spending some time in St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Or was it when she was forced to announce to everyone at Ellen’s Stardust that it was her 60th birthday and this aspiring actor proceeded to sing her happy birthday?

Or how about when Cioci Jessi met this wonderfully honest man holding the sign that says: “Need money for weed, why lie”.   Isn’t NY great?

Babci loves the big city, even in the rain.

Cioci Jessi… did you go inside to buy anything for Wujek Sean?

Happy Birthday to me!!!  I turned 5.  I picked the colors and got to decorate my own cake (except for the letters).   It was a lot of fun.

And opening presents is always fun!!!

Thanks Zio Reo!

Daddy and I did a good job decorating the tree for Christmas.

Look Mia, Santa came!!!!!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Mia

Meet Mia’s new doll.

Her name is Tess.

I got so many great presents.  Thanks Zio Reo…. I mean Santa.

Here is a painting I did ALL BY MYSELF shortly after Mommy and Daddy took us to see Santa Claus in South Floral Park.    When Cioci Jessi showed me pictures of Ally and Noelle sitting on Santa’s lap, I told Cioci Jessi that “MY Santa Claus has brown skin.”

The day after Xmas, I celebrated again at Babci’s house with my cousins.

Time to hang the stockings.

I had lots of fun playing with my cousins.

Haley…. you are too cute.

Daddy was pumping up one of Mia’s toys.   I have no words.

We took a walk around the bird sanctuary which isn’t far from our new house in NY.

…. what love.

Mia is cute

I said “cheese”!!!

Woah… did you see that?   Was that Santa Claus?

Look Mia, there he goes!!!!!!

Let’s take a walk.

Mia, what’s so funny?

Digging for worms with my cousins Clarissa and Anastasia.

I love playing with Anastasia.

Why is Mia so happy?

Maybe it is because Daddy finished the built in closet for her bedroom.  She is already planning which drawer her socks will go in.

Zio Reo brought a whole truck full of wood!!!!!

It sure as a lot.

Good thing Mia was around to help stack it.

I was a great help too!!!!

Prosciutto anyone?

My tummy helped Zio Reo clean up the ‘scraps’ from slicing some prosciutto.

Santa Claus gave us these cool antlers to wear.  I love wearing mine all the time!!!

We had a great time playing with Greyson

I think he had fun too!!

After a while, Mia stopped having fun sharing.

Mia loves playing with Haley.

Mia and Haley enjoying a little story time.

Happy Birthday Noelle!!!  I can’t wait to eat an Angry Bird cupcake!!!

Isn’t this the cutest couple you ever saw?

Love fall time!  Leaves, leaves and more leaves.

Dziadziu picked some yummy mushroom!

Time to start cleaning.

Baby Johnny is in Africa.

We went to go see Nonno.

We both took him some flowers.

I look a lot older lately.

Averi and I got to have a play date while Mia was napping.

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!

The kids had a great time sitting outside and handing out the candy!!!!!

We went to the library for a Halloween Parade.

Mia had a good time.

Trick-or-Treat!!!!!

Prababca liked Mia’s Apple Dumpling costume.

And my soldier costume.

Have you met Mia’s baby doll Johnny.  She refuses to keep any clothes on him.

Every now and then Mia ask for booby and Mommy tells her that “Bobbies are for babies.”  Putting it together, Mia provided some booby for her baby.

Working hard on my latest masterpiece.

And the final result.

Mommy told me to “Go fly a kite”…. so I did.

I’m getting good at my soccer skills.

Mia dressed herself and went downstairs to play trains.

I always like playing trains too.

My favorite time of day is here…. when Mia wakes up from her nap its SNACK TIME!!!!

No pictures this time, but Mia is doing great peeing on the potty all day long!!!

I see you…

We went to go see Zio Reo’s trucks in the Long Island Truck Show.

Mia looks cool.

I’m ready to ride.

Mia had a great time climbing over Zio’s trucks.

I got to ride on a Monster Truck!

I wasn’t even afraid.

We even ran over curbs and sidewalks!!!!

Playing with trains are fun.

And balloons.

I needed a nap!!!!  I go running with Mommy, but I usually ride my bike.  This time I decided to get off my bike and run around the track myself.   I did it 3 times!!!!  Boy was I tired when we got back.

Mia’s first poop on the potty.   During dinner she turned to Mommy and said “Mommy, Poop”.   She was so proud of herself.  When she was done she went up to everyone at the table and said, “Daddy, I did it!!!”,  ”Zio Muzzio, I did it!!!”, “Nonna, I did it!!!!”, etc.

All this  potty training is hard work.   After going on the potty, Mia took a nap on the floor.

(More accurately Mia has been sick and is somehow finding comfort laying on the floor.  Who I am to question her technique?)

I scream, you scream…..

Mia screams for ice cream!!!!!!

Mia sure is a messy eater!!!

We are packing up the house to move to NY.

Needless to say, Mia and I were a BIG help!!!!

If you ever need any help, let us know.  We work for snacks.

Phase 1 of my science project is complete.  The vinegar completely dissolved the egg-shell.  You can even see the yolk.  The egg is very squishy now!!!!!

We sure are going to miss our friends Ms Jen, Jack, and Lucia.   :(

I always have a great time with Jack.

Mia does too.
